Celebration day at Easingwold Co-Op

It was not a ‘normal day when I walked into work at the ‘big co-op’ on the morning of Saturday 24th November.

I’m immediately greeted with huge smiles from members of the scouting association, who are stood around a table laden with cakes, party hats and cheerful flower garlands.

Suddenly, a loud noise startles me and I look over to see Easingwold Town Band assembling themselves in the corner.

‘Today is the Day!’ I think happily to myself. Today we get to give over 25k to our local community…
